God’s beautiful mosaic of humanity contains infinite variety — He has a specific purpose for each of His creations that no one else can fill. His intention is that we would all be enriched beyond our finite worlds by the lives and experiences of others. But, God is also NOT surprised that the place where any two people’s lives cross has the potential for conflict…if for no other reason than the fact that each individual IS completely unique. What we find are challenges in relationships that we simply cannot navigate without His wisdom, love and grace.

Cross-Purpose Ministries seeks to promote healthy relationships and to meet people at points of need. The services we offer fall into these major categories:

Spiritual Counseling

God is the Source and Creator of all that exists, therefore we believe all issues of life are spiritual in foundation. This approach differs from standard counseling in its reliance on God vs self to appropriate truth and to receive His power to put truth into practice. — Learn more

Premarital Preparation & Marriage Counseling

God created marriage to mirror our relationship with Him. Therefore, all marriage counseling focuses on relationship and draws from the “Marriage Manual” (the Bible) God authored. Those willing to follow His instructions will have success. — Learn more

Parenting and Family Care

Becoming parents ourselves helps us to understand the heart of God for us, His children. This includes appropriating the delicate balance between death-defying love and corrective disciplinary action. Parental and Family Counseling starts with a close-knit relationship to the Heavenly Father. Imitating His model will give our children what they need to thrive. — Learn more

Support for Pastors and Churches

God designed the body of Christ to function as individual living stones with various gifts that He fits together to form one structure. That means that one stone (the Pastor) is not required to do everything. Neither is one church body required to offer services for which God has made provision outside the walls of a lone church. — Learn more

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a] 2to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy, instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
