Jesus commented to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” (Luke 10:2) The church is God’s primary resource of Kingdom labor, but workers who are wounded and injured are impaired in their function. Cross-Purpose Ministries is committed to supporting the local church in three primary ways:
- Offering discipleship teaching and training through seminars, workshops, and retreats
- As a resource to members of the congregation for healing and discipleship through counseling services
- Assisting pastors in preparing couples for marriage, and strengthening existing marriages and families (includes couple counseling and corporate teaching)
- Confidential ministry to the needs of pastors and their families in burn-out, church division, moral failures, and other issues that arise in shepherding a congregation
At this time in history when right is called wrong, and wrong is called right, churches have their jobs cut out for them. With so many issues to address on multiple fronts, Cross-Purpose Ministries desires to assist the church in promoting God’s healing and freedom to individuals, couples and families, so that the Body of Christ is empowered to be the love of Christ to a world that desperately needs it.
